Halloween Ghosts Meringue Cookie
Everyone will love these ghostly meringues - crispy on the outside and deliciously gooey on the inside, they're the perfect spooky sweet treat and a scarily good Halloween party idea.
- 100g purified water
- 260g granulated sugar (for boiled sugar)
- 140g egg white
- 40g sugar
- A little food coloring
- Some cookies
How to Cook?
- Step 1
Pour water and 260g sugar into a small pot of boiled sugar, cook on low heat to 120℃(250℉).
- Step 2
At the same time, start to beat the egg whites, add 40g of sugar to the egg whites in 3 times, beat until smooth
- Step 3
Pour the boiled syrup into the egg whites in a small amount several times, and use a whisk to beat at high speed until the egg white lines are clear and shiny.
- Step 4
Divide the whipped egg whites into multiple portions, add your favorite pigments for color mixing, and mix evenly.
- Step 5
Cover the baking tray with greased paper, squeeze the egg whites out of your favorite shape and combine them with biscuits. Place them on the baking tray. Put it in the preheated oven and bake at 80℃(180℉) for about 2 hours
